Please be advised
Please be advised that over the last few days, we have received multiple calls from clients stating that they received a call from “Apple Support” regarding the security of their iCloud account.
These fraudsters are attempting to retrieve information from unsuspecting individuals to gain access to their personal data and accounts. NEVER give out personal information to ANYONE over the phone or Internet.
Last year an estimated $9 billion was lost to phone scams, up from $7.4 billion the previous year.
If you get an unsolicited call or voicemail claiming to be from ANY account you have, such as telecom provider, banking, Microsoft, Apple, etc etc. HANG UP and call them directly using a known phone number.
Do not become a victim of identity theft or fraud. If you are unsure its always a best practice to request help from your technical staff.
If you have questions please feel free to reach out.
